About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is looking for a Senior SQL Database Administrator to manage and maintain our SQL Server environments. This role focuses on ensuring database availability, performance, security, and reliability across production and development systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Install, configure, and manage SQL Server databases.
  • Monitor performance and tune SQL queries and indexes.
  • Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Manage high availability features (e.g., clustering, replication, Always On).
  • Support development teams with database design and deployment.
  • Automate tasks and maintain system documentation.


Qualifications

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications:

  • 5-7+ years as a SQL Server DBA in production environments.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Strong in T-SQL, performance tuning, and security best practices.
  • Experience with SSIS/SSRS and high availability solutions.
  • Familiar with Azure SQL or cloud-based database services.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Clearance Requirements: Secret Clearance

Min Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
