Job Title: A&T Technician II

Location: East Aurora - NY

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Shifts: 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM (Primary shift)

Training Shifts (as needed):

1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:00 AM

Job Description:

  • In this role, you will perform mechanical and electrical assembly and testing operations to ensure high-quality aerospace components meet stringent industry standards.
  • You will report to the Process Manager and work primarily on 2nd shift with a 10% shift differential. Training may occur on a different shift depending on operational needs.



Overview:

  • The A\&T Technician II will support the assembly and testing of aerospace components using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic tools and processes.
  • The role involves working with high-precision testing equipment, reading and interpreting schematics and work instructions, and documenting all assembly and test data accurately.
  • The technician must meet FAA Drug & Alcohol Program compliance due to working on Safety Sensitive Work (SSW).



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble aerospace components using a variety of hand tools, gauges, fixtures, and mechanical devices.
  • Interpret and follow technical documents, drawings, work instructions, and parts lists.
  • Set up and perform operational tests using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment.
  • Diagnose test failures, recommend rework or configuration changes, and perform minor adjustments.
  • Accurately document performance results, testing data, and any rework performed.
  • Support daily administrative tasks to maintain operational flow.



Must-Haves:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must demonstrate comprehension of English in verbal, written, and digital formats.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a related technical/assembly/test role, preferably in aerospace, automotive, or manufacturing.


Skills:

  • Proficiency in using measurement and torque tools, gauges, and test fixtures.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).


Compliance: Must enroll and pass the FAA Drug & Alcohol Program due to the safety-sensitive nature of the work.
