Responsibilities:
As a Space Cybersecurity SME and Cybersecurity Test Director with MTSI you will provide technical support to multiple government clients on the development, acquisition, integration, testing and fielding of high-technology capabilities and services for the DoD community with a particular focus on the space warfighting domain. Additionally, you will serve as a proponent of MTSI's research & development efforts for advanced cybersecurity technology and enable the company's recruitment of cybersecurity and cyber test expertise. This position will operate primarily in the National Capital Region but may require travel to various locations no more than 1 week per month.
Your essential job functions will include but will not be limited to:
Serve as a senior advisor to high-ranking government officials on cybersecurity and cyber test concepts, architectures, and weapons.
Advise government technical directors on development, testing, and evaluation priorities and requirements for cyber test and cybersecurity capabilities.
Advise government leadership on Defensive Cyber Operations for Space (DCO-S) strategy, ensuring the protection of information assets, managing overall security posture, and maturing DCO-S programs from prototype to program of record through successful DT, OT, Ops Acceptance, and Sustainment.
Design, develop, and communicate advanced cybersecurity concepts and technical solutions.
Champion MTSI's research & development investments in cybersecurity technologies.
Assist with MTSI's recruitment, evaluation, and hiring of cybersecurity talent.
Qualifications:
*25+ years of relevant experience working with DoD or IC
*10+ years of extensive experience in cybersecurity and cyber test
*5+ years' experience at an executive level in a technical discipline e.g. Chief Engineer, Technical Director
*Extensive experience working with the highest levels of DoD leadership
*Extensive experience with cyber defense concepts and historical execution
*Extensive experience working with DoD red teams
*Extensive experience solving emergent and dynamic cybersecurity challenges
*Familiarity with the space warfighting domain and how security can be practically designed into space systems
*Expert knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and networks.
*Demonstrated ability to assess and articulate risk, including to non-technical audiences
*Strong communication skills, written and oral.
Education Requirements:
*Master of Science or higher degree in a technical discipline
Certification Requirements:
*CISSP, CISM, or CISA desired
Clearance Requirements:
*Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
*U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
Travel Requirements:
*This position will operate primarily in the National Capital Region but may require travel to various locations no more than 1 week per month.
