Requisition ID# 166282 Job Category: Procurement / Supply Chain Job Level: Manager/Principal Business Unit: Engineering, Planning & Strategy Work Type: Hybrid Job Location: Auburn Department Overview The Sourcing organization is the functional lead for the procurement of materials and services at Pacific Gas and Electric Company. The department collaborates with internal clients and suppliers managing $10 billion of annual company spend to develop mutually beneficial total cost solutions for goods and services. The department provides the following services to internal clients: procurement of goods and services, strategic sourcing and cost savings, supplier relationship management, supplier diversity planning, execution and outreach, compliance management, ongoing procurement field support and management of the procure to pay cycle. Position Summary Develops and manages one or more sourcing spend categories and manages contracts associated with the category(ies). Develops strategic category plans to optimize cost savings, service excellence, diversity spend and total cost of ownership for the categories. Conducts RFx for high visibility projects involving supplier interaction and heavy negotiation.Effectively influences LOBs, including senior leadership, to achieve understanding, acceptance, and commitment of sourcing strategies. Works with Line of Business (LOB) to develop, source and negotiate major contracts. Plays a key role in Supplier Relationship Management / Scorecard process. This position will support the Power Generation department (Hydro, Fossil, Solar). This position will be hybrid with the expectation to report to the Auburn, CA office minimal 2 times a week. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of thejob posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will bebased on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience,market value, geographic location, and internal equity.Although we estimatethe successful candidate hiredinto this rolewill beplaced between the entry point and the middle of the range, the decisionwill be made on a case-by-casebasis related tothese factors.This job is also eligible to participate inPG&E's discretionary incentive compensation programs.
