Job Description

The Audit Lead Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and reporting of complex, multifaceted audit projects. This role requires effective project management, including proper planning, delegation, supervision, and review of staff work to ensure adherence to the audit execution process and compliance with professional standards. Key Responsibilities:

* Leading complex audits with independence and objectivity

* Actively engage clients and effectively communicate the context and need for a strong and cost-effective internal control environment and risk management practices

* Assuming a leadership role on department process improvement initiatives and/or a center of functional expertise

* Coordinating and directing the work of other project members on leadership assignments.

* Integrates deep subject matter expertise into the audit execution process

* Taking personal accountability to ensure that audits are performed with proficiency and due professional care

* Travel requirements are minimal (15%)

* Contribute to improving the Team or Audit Department effectiveness through implementation of key Internal Audit priorities

* Support timely and effective remediation of control issues

* Assist in the development and maintenance of a risk-based audit plan for the Allstate enterprise, focusing on the BU's and AOR's that they are assigned

Education:

* 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

* Core certifications are required and considered a condition of employment for all new Audit Lead Consultants and above. Accepted certifications include CPA/CA, CISA, CIA, and CFE. Any new hires or internal promotions into Allstate Internal Audit at the Lead level or higher who do not already hold a core certification must obtain one within 18 months of assuming the role.

Experience:

* 5 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities:

* This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu):

* In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $76,200.00 - 134,550.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
