POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Manager, Brand Communications plays a central role in shaping and executing Garden of Life's media and communications strategy. Responsible for coordinating efforts across paid media, retail and Amazon media, influencer and ambassador programs, and integrated campaign development, this role ensures the brand shows up consistently and impactfully across consumer touchpoints.

This role is accountable for championing the category, brand, and consumer strategy in the near-term marketing plan, translating business priorities into breakthrough communications that drive growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and strong cross-functional leader with deep subject matter expertise and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. They bring a proven track record of turning insights into execution, along with a fluency in the evolving modern marketing landscape-from media and eCommerce to influencer and creator culture.

This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate's geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Paid Media:

  • Develop and execute paid media strategies across digital, social, and programmatic channels to drive brand awareness and conversion
  • Partner with internal media subject matter experts and media agencies to optimize campaign performance, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and target audience behaviors
  • Analyze media performance data to inform future spend and creative strategy recommendations

Amazon & Retail Media:

  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies on strategy and execution of media campaigns across Amazon and key retail partners (e.g., Instacart, Walmart), ensuring consistent brand presence and performance
  • Collaborate with eCommerce teams to align media plans with business objectives, creative guidelines, and consumer insights
  • Monitor campaign KPIs and ROAS, providing actionable insights to improve investment efficiency

Campaign Development:

  • Partner on the development and execution of integrated brand campaigns, from creative brief through go-to-market activation (i.e. equity campaigns, innovation, Prime Day)
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, digital, PR, and product teams to ensure a cohesive and compelling brand narrative across channels
  • Own campaign timelines and deliverables, ensuring flawless execution across all consumer touchpoints

Influencers and Brand Ambassadors:

  • Partner with internal subject matter experts on an always-on influencer and ambassador program to drive advocacy and brand relevance

Budget Management :

  • Own the communications budget, ensuring accurate forecasting, allocation, and reconciliation across paid, earned, and owned channels
  • Monitor budget performance and provide regular reporting to leadership, identifying risks and opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related business field required; Master's preferred
  • 7+years of experience in marketing, brand, or communications roles, including experience with in-house (client-side) environment; agency-side experience may contribute to the total
  • Demonstrated ability and initiative to drive cross-functional teams and agencies to deliver on collective brand communication goals
  • Experience developing strategic plans and budgets, such as communication campaigns or commercialization strategies
  • Experience with Amazon marketing strategies including paid search, display, and off-Amazon traffic-driving tactics
  • Proven ability to lead 360 degree brand campaigns across paid, earned, and owned channels
  • Strong understanding of digital media, retail media, and performance-driven tactics
  • Experience in briefing and managing both external and internal partners (creative, media, influencer, etc.) to deliver on best-in-class work
  • In-depth knowledge of the evolving media landscape and expertise in integrating creative strategies with media to optimize impact
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Digital native with expertise in building a brand's voice across consumer touchpoints
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, ability to work independently and with a team
  • Strong interest in the wellness cultural landscape
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of budget control methods, policies and procedures

The approximate pay range for this position is $145,000- $180,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
