Supervisor, Maintenance 2, DZMG

Assists the Senior Maintenance Manager in the development and execution of plans, methods and procedures to accomplish Plant and Production Maintenance activities. Manages functions and personnel, engaged in fabrication, installation, rearrangement and utilization and maintenance of Plant facilities including building, grounds, roads, utilities and equipment, particularly in the Pipefitting and Electrical areas. Evaluates employee performance and potential for job growth and recommends personnel actions such as selection, promotion, discharge or disciplinary action. Participates, in conjunction with managers, in labor relations activities such as grievance hearings, arbitration hearings and other union business. Displays and utilizes experience and judgment to plan, set, and accomplish goals. Regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of job assignments.

• Reviews work objectives and estimates man-hour and skill requirements to accomplish objectives while preparing and/or assisting other departments in Scopes of Work.
• Planning, prioritizing, assigning, supervising, reviewing and participating in all tasks related to facility maintenance.
• Create and maintain preventive maintenance standards for an organization's facilities and equipment.
• Prepares cost estimates and evaluates capabilities of all crafts involved. Evaluates procedures and sequences of job phases during cost estimation to better staff each effort.
• Interprets work orders, specifications, and blueprints for employees. Creates/formulates as-built and pre-fabrication sketches for secondary equipment and/or utility installation or relocation. Prepares job progress reports and required course of action negative and/or difficult situations.
• Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be performed. Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed correctly and in a timely manner.

• Extensive knowledge of and the ability to perform Maintenance Craft related skills
• Knowledge of cost estimating
• Computer skills (including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Ability to troubleshoot, operate, maintain, construct and make repairs to facility, utilities, machinery and equipment.

• High School Diploma required with Maintenance apprenticeship or technical school certification preferred
• Must possess a valid REAL ID-compliant driver's license, which includes the gold or black star in the upper corner, indicating it is federally compliant.
• 3 years supervisory experience in Maintenance related activities
• Equipment/Machine Operation,
• Have good working knowledge of systems including electrical, pipe, mechanical, carpentry, masonry, and painting

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws,the salary range for this role is $61,680 - $92,520.This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements).
