The Impact You'll Make
Our Danfoss Van Wert, OH facility is seeking an Order Fulfillment Representative to join the team. This key role is vital, as it interacts daily with our customers, working to support their needs. A successful candidate is one that is highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and will be comfortable working in a high-paced environment. The Order Fulfillment Representative will operate daily out of our facility in Van Wert, Ohio and report directly to the Supply Chain Supervisor. Relocation support will not be available. Work authorization to work for this position is also not available.
What You'll Be Doing
- Proactively coordinates and communicates with Customer Service Representatives (CSR) and Planners to address orders.
- Ensure orders are fulfilled to customer expectations.
- Monitor and expedites items needed for customer orders and ensure orders are released for shipment.
- Determine and follow-up on dispatch shortages.
- Identifies when other team members, or others outside the team, are needed for assistance to satisfy all customer needs.
- Communicates to CSR and production the order priorities and quantities.
- For deviations, complete inventory transactions so that the right parts are in the order and inventory.
- Review and understands impact of Engineering Changes (EC) on inventory and customer orders.
- Coordinate short lead-time customer orders with operations teams. "Negotiate" win-win situations for delivery of product to customer needs that fits the operating capacity to deliver.
- Expedite support departments and functions to insure on-time delivery of product and information to the customer.
- Coordinate order-processing activity with other functional areas to insure timely processing of all transactions related to a customer order.
- Promotes quality and continuous improvement.
- Assists Production Planner in discovery, analysis, and correction of inventory error root causes.
- Coordinate stop order process.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited or 4 years of manufacturing experience
- Possess strong communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, Access, Power BI, etc)
- Possess a strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Customer service experience in a production or distribution work environment
