What You'll Bring:

  • At least 15 years of related experience specific to strategy and planning with at least 4- 6 years at a consulting firm in a strategy role
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field with MBA in management or operations is preferred.
  • Willingness / ability to travel 20% of time with some overnights; mostly domestic
  • Strategic Thinking:Ability to develop long-term plans and strategies that align with company and business unit goals.
  • Analytical Skills:Strong ability to analyze data, trends, and financial information to inform decisions. Translates information to actionable insights.
  • Project/Program Management:Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines. Strong stakeholder management and the ability to resolve complex challenges simply and effectively.
  • Communication:Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey strategic plans to key stakeholders. Ability to manage a diverse set of stakeholders including C-suite executives.
  • Leadership:Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives.
  • Problem-Solving:Ability to address challenges and identify opportunities.

Impact You'll Make:

Global Operations comprises several functions aimed at enabling and strengthening enterprise growth through operational excellence, innovation, and scale. This role reports to the Chief Operations Officer and serves as the primary strategic advisor to the organization; leads the program management, communications as well as the reporting and business insights functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:Collaborate closely with the COO, Global Operations leaders, and cross-functional teams (finance, technology, etc.) to drive the strategic vision and agenda that foster enterprise growth. Develop the three-year strategy for the CEO and Board, along with supporting operational plans.
  • Business Intelligence: Deliver actionable reporting and analytics that drive sales effectiveness and efficiency, monitor service delivery KPIs, support operational excellence, and evaluate product performance. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure data-driven decision-making, maintain data quality and governance, and provides strategic insights to leadership through dashboards and executive reporting.
  • Operational Analysis:Conduct thorough research and evaluation to develop strategies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Global Operations (e.g., digital capabilities, AI, real estate). Analyze trends, competition, and insights to identify opportunities and operational risks.
  • Alignment and Execution:Partner with business units (Sales, Solutions, Technology) to align strategic goals and lead the development and execution of long-term plans, including resource allocation, investment forecasting, and budgeting. Work with leadership to create and maintain business plans and operational strategies with clear, measurable targets. Track and report progress against plans, adjusting dashboards as needed.
  • Guidance and Support:Provide strategic guidance to Global Operations leaders to facilitate the implementation of function-specific initiatives. Support M&A activities from due diligence to integration, coordinating efforts across relevant teams.
  • Program Management:Oversee key enterprise initiatives such as Illuminate and the Global Dispute Platform, collaborating with the PMO to ensure performance and delivery. Engage with external partners, consultants, or suppliers as necessary.
  • Chief of Staff Oversight:Oversee the Chief of Staff role, ensuring effective collaboration with the Head of Strategy, Planning & Communication and other leaders to drive the strategic agenda.
    • Develop and deliver content for the 3YP, board materials, business reviews, staff meetings, and leadership off-site meetings.
    • Lead the development and coordination of communications related to strategy, key initiatives, and performance.
    • Communicate the Global Operations strategy and key initiatives to stakeholders and associates.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information : The U.S. base salary range for this position is $225,800.00 - $474,300.00 *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations. Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion's annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
