Sr Mgr Business Optimization

Job Summary: The Senior Manager, Optimization will lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the procurement team. This role will focus on cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and driving value creation through strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Foster relationships with key stakeholders across various departments to ensure alignment on strategic procurement goals.

• Collaborate with teams outside of procurement to share insights and best practices that enhance overall organizational performance.

1. Partnership with Change Management:

• Work closely with Terri Pena on Change Requests (CRs) and other improvement initiatives to drive continuous enhancements in procurement processes.

• Leverage expertise to identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization.

1. Process Review and Enhancement:

• Lead comprehensive process reviews to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies within procurement workflows.

• Implement process enhancements to improve agility, responsiveness, and overall effectiveness of the procurement function.

1. Value Creation:

• Drive initiatives that unlock efficiencies and reduce costs, contributing to the organization's bottom line.

• Monitor and report on the impact of optimization efforts to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

1. Risk Mitigation:

• Identify potential risks related to procurement processes and implement strategies to mitigate them.

• Ensure that procurement practices remain competitive and effective in a changing market.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Minimum of years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, with a focus on process optimization.

• Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects and initiatives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Experience with change management and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
