The Office of Strategic Partnerships at Robinson College of Business is seeking a Partner Engagement Manager (Temp) to serve on the Strategic Partnerships team under the direction of the Sr. Director, Strategic Partnerships.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

This is a new role being created to undertake a variety of project management duties to engage internal and external stakeholders in support of our growing portfolio of strategic partnerships, immersive and experiential programs, partner programs and events, and talent recruitment activities across the Robinson College of Business and Georgia State University. In addition, this role aligns with Accelerate 2025, the Colleges strategic plan which calls for the development of additional external partnerships.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Project Planning & Management



  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, for events and marketing initiatives. Experience with project management software is ideal.
  • Set clear project objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Manage project schedules and track progress, adjusting as needed.
  • Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with various internal teams (e.g., Immersive Programs, Robinson CAC, Academic Departments) to ensure seamless execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and ensure alignment across unit sub-teams, including Undergraduate & Graduate Career Advancement, Immersive Programs, Strategic Partnerships, and Operations.
  • Streamline processes by creating standardized templates and workflows.
  • Gather data to evaluate project success and prepare reports to inform future planning and improvements.


Event Management & Execution



  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to conceptualize, plan, and execute high-impact Partner recognition and student showcase events to support institutional goals, showcase diverse talent, and foster strong connections between students, alumni, and industry partners.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute partner-related events, such as Partner Day on Campus, hackathons, sponsored case competitions, VIP Presentations.
  • Lead project management and oversight of events, setting goals and timelines, and managing resource allocation and coordination.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality event standards.
  • Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
  • Oversee on-site event execution, including setup, registration, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure event marketing aligns with brand guidelines and appropriate partner recognition.
  • Utilize event management software and tools to manage registrations, attendee engagement, and other logistical details.


Marketing & Communications



  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote events and initiatives, utilizing various channels (e.g., email marketing, social media, signage).
  • Manage content creation and design of marketing and promotional materials for event and/or program promotion and marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate student outreach, including event/program marketing, student recruitment, and selection process management
  • Track and report on marketing metrics and event performance.
  • Support the curation of partner success stories, developing high-quality marketing materials (e.g., digital content, print collateral, social media, partnership collateral), and ensuring consistent messaging across newsletters, press releases, and other channels.


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Foster collaboration between unit sub-teams (Undergraduate Career Advancement, Immersive Programs, Strategic Partnerships, & Operations) through regular meetings and updates with internal stakeholders to share best practices and ensure programs and marketing strategies are being executed effectively.
  • Collaborate with Robinson's Office of Marketing & Communications to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across web/online, email, social media, and print formats.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, vendors, and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing inquiries.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues across various departments.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree and 6 years of experience in project management and/or event planning, preferably within higher education or a related field.


Preferred Requirements:



  • Experience with marketing and communications; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience effectively leading execution and influencing others to achieve results in a matrix environment and boundary spanning role that requires the development and execution of multi-faceted plans from idea to reality across large, complex systems in collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time sensitive problems in a constructive, positive manner
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Experience working effectively with faculty, University administrators, and advisory board members is preferred.
  • Outstanding relationship skills and exceptional degree of emotional intelligence with the ability to establish credibility, work collaboratively, foster a culture of collaboration and trust, and influence outcomes with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possesses a strategic mindset with a passion for creating focus and driving execution, able to translate ideas into operational goals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, process-driven environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with lean staff support.
  • Outstanding written, verbal and presentation skills and the proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain composure, humor and positive attitude during lengthy periods of high-volume work.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who works well independently.


Additional Preferred Requirements:



  • A willingness to travel 20% local to global as needed is required.
  • Schedule flexibility to include occasional evenings, early mornings and weekends is required.
  • This position may also assume other duties as assigned.
