Local Driver / Warehouse Operator

Salary:
FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your responsibilities:
The Local Driver / Warehouse operator, working out of our Clackamus,OR facility, reports to our Warehouse Supervisor, and is responsible for performing warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks, as well as operate box trucks delivering finished goods (industrial lubricants & metalworking fluids) to our customers in a timely manner. Spe-cific responsibilities include:
* Delivering drums, totes and small packed goods like 5 gallon pails and grease cases
* Complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
* Loading and unloading freight
* Picking, packing and preparing customer orders for shipment
* Performing final inspection/dock check on all outbound customer orders
* Receiving and properly storing finished product
* If customer does not have a dock, driver must be able to operate manual pallet jack to offload pallets from the rear of truck (when applicable).
* Reporting defects, accidents or violations immediately
* Maintaining a clean work environment and performing general warehouse upkeep/ maintenance.

Qualifications we are looking for:
* High school education or equivalent
* A valid CDL Class B license with a HazMat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements, OR must be able to obtain necessary endorsements within 90 days.
* At least 2 years' experience driving a CDL vehicle
* Ability to meet all company standards and DOT requirements for vehicles and drivers
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
* Ability to read a map and accurately plan a route
* Ability to follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication skills with ability to read English and write legibly
* Basic math skills required
* Straight truck, box trailer and tanker experience a plus
* Previous pallet jack experience a plus
* Safety conscious
* Basic computer skills (Knowledge of SAP/ERP a plus)
* Pumping Operation experience is preferred

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday, but must be flexible
