Overview

The purpose of this position is to help achieve the vision of Carle Home Health Services by performing the duties of this position in a cost effective, results oriented and customer focused manner. This position is a critical component of the Unit team and as such meeting individual performance expectations and contribution to team performance goals is required. To manage the daily activities of the branch/department business office. The Business Services Supervisor plans, organizes and evaluates the operation of the home care service office, business office processes and procedures in accordance with company mission, values and philosophy, policies and procedures. The supervisor collaborates with other members of the home care team to provide cost-effective, quality patient services in accordance with federal, state and Accrediting Organization guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

Assures that Intermittent office operations meet the service needs of all clients and the regulatory requirements of the home

care industry.
Assists the Regional Director in the development and monitoring of adherence to the department budget through review of

monthly financials to budget. Suggests action plan for variances.
Manages office clerical associates to reach optimum efficiency/effectiveness and financial benefit. Manages workflow to assure appropriate use of available clerical human resources to meet organizational goals.
Acts as liaison to Patient Accounts for resolution of billing information. Assures the establishment and maintenance of medical records in accordance with Carle P/P, regulatory and legal requirements. Responsible to assure that the information within the medical record supports release of claims for billing.
Responsible to assure that medical record documentation adheres to payor regulations. Responsible to assure the appropriate

release of medical information based on regulations and Carle P/P.
Assures accurate, cost effective processing of medical and office supplies.
Coordinates maintenance of all office equipment, building maintenance.
Coordinates all communication equipment.
Manages accounts payable completion.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $23.83per hour - $39.8per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
