Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker's Compensation provisions.
However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. If they average 30 or more hours per week over a designated measurement period, they will be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan and will be notified of instructions.

Minimum Experience/Education |
Bachelor's degree and one year of administrative experience in a higher education setting. |
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: |
- Three years of administrative experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Advanced skills in excel, Microsoft office programs, Gmail and calendar applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to interact with a variety of consumers (faculty, staff, students, external agencies, visitors, and families).
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to problem solve and propose solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities |
This position utilizes multiple complex databases in Banner, excel and other software programs to track multiple data points for the college's student's clinical agency requirements. Must have advanced skills in excel, Microsoft office programs, gmail and calendar. Must have excellent interpersonal and professional oral and written communication skills to interact with a variety of consumers (faculty, staff, students, external agencies, visitors, and families). Must have record of outstanding attention to detail and ability to problem solve and propose solutions. |
