Department:Library Services Department Organizational Unit:Library Services Franklin Degroodt Libra Position Type:Permanent Full Time/Part Time:Full Time CLOSE DATE: 07/29/2025 $2,625.59 to $2,756.87 biweekly. Actual salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications. South/Franklin Degroodt Public Library and Palm Bay Public Library. Work schedule is variable and includes evenings and weekends. Performs skilled administrative work directing the activities of the Franklin Degroodt Public Library and the Palm Bay Public Library. Supervision is given to a staff of professional, paraprofessional, and clerical employees. REQUIREMENTS: A Master's degree from a graduate library school programPLUSfour (4) years of professional library experience including three (3) years in a supervisory capacity. Must be available after hours for emergencies. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: ln the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
