In addition to mechanic duties such as repairing bicycles and salvaging parts from teardown bicycles, the Shop Hands will help organize the space, perform maintenance and cleaning, and be responsible for repairing the bikes that are donated to ABB from the community. The Shop Hand should have a positive attitude, be friendly, be motivated to become part of the culture at Aggie Blue Bikes, and most importantly be a quick learner. Experience with bicycle maintenance is preferred but not required, lack of experience should be substituted with a tenacity and desire to learn. Responsibilities Customer service:
Learn how to perform repairs on bicycles including quick checks, 2 week checkups, and general maintenance:
Clean and organize shop spaces as needed/ requested, along with daily upkeep:
