Summary of Job Duties:The Master Application Systems Analyst supports IT Patient Systems. Works with little to no supervision, exercising appropriate judgment and operational considerations. Supports system applications, primarily EC Plus (MyChart, Care Everywhere, etc.). Exhibits expert knowledge and proficiency on overall software functionality and integration. Responsible for supervising and participating in the team's work and distribution of responsibilities related to system build, testing, implementation support and maintenance of assigned Epic applications, ensuring that service level agreements and deadlines are met. Communicates team performance to upper management and provides feedback on team member evaluations. Performs in-depth analysis, trouble shooting, data collection, and root cause analysis and then identifies and/or implements potential solutions for issues related to the system or usage of it. Analyzes/reviews and tests each product release and communicates needed changes to operations. Must be able to document, follow and enforce change control procedures for the system. Drives and facilitates coordination of efforts required from analysts, system vendors and operations to ensure that system integrity is maintained and that IT deliverables meet operational business needs. Researches, analyzes, facilitates and implements business and system workflows in order to expedite process improvement and coordinate business practices. Identifies best practices and implements opportunities for standardization. Prepares activity and other reports as necessary. Attains necessary certifications, as applicable, in a timely manner according to policy. Provides On-Call support for application. As team leader, provides procedural and technical guidance and supervision to team members. Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Clinical, healthcare, Business, IT or related field with 4 years IT experience or clinical/operational experience or any combination of the two, including 1 year managing process and/or application -OR
  • Bachelor's Degree in Clinical, healthcare, Business, IT or related field with 6 years IT experience or clinical/operational experience or any combination of the two, including 1 year managing process and/or application -OR
  • Associate's Degree in Clinical, healthcare, Business, IT or related field with 8 years IT experience or clinical/operational experience or any combination of the two, including 1 year managing process and/or application -OR
  • High School Diploma/GED with 10 years IT experience or clinical/operational experience or any combination of the two, including 1 year managing process and/or application.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Required to rotate 24x7 on-call duties and to respond immediately to trouble calls outside of general work hours.

  • Work occasionally may require an excess of eight hours per day plus weekend work.

  • Workload and deadlines pressure will regularly subject incumbent to moderate to high job-related stress.

  • Occasional overnight travel may be required for training, evaluating vendor systems at other customer sites, or industry conferences.

  • Required Certification: MyChart, EpicC are Link - Must currently be certified or obtain within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or progressively higher degree preferred.
  • IT experience plus Clinical or Operational experience.
