The Manager, DLS Sales, North America is a key leadership role within Danfoss Drives North America, part of the Digital & Lifecycle Services (DLS) division. This position plays a critical role in driving strategic growth by scaling lifecycle services, expanding digital service offerings, and introducing new business models, while continuing to support and enable product and project sales.

In this role, you will be responsible for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of the Digital & Lifecycle Services business across the North American region, aligned with the overarching DLS strategy. You will serve as the primary contact for strategic alignment between the DLS organization and relevant divisions within Danfoss Drives.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.




  • Drive growth across Digital & Lifecycle Services (DLS) portfolio in the U.S. market.



  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in service agreements, upgrades/retrofits, and digital solutions.



  • Develop and implement business development plans to expand service offerings and drive customer engagement.



  • Collaborate with Vertical Sales Leaders to develop and execute strategic sales initiatives targeting new and existing customers to achieve revenue and margin targets.



  • Act as the lead contact for selected direct and co-owned end customers, with a focus on installed base accounts.



  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., sales, inside sales, technical specialists, management).



  • Negotiate service agreements to optimize value and profitability.



  • Ensure execution of DLS strategic initiatives using the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Act) methodology to drive continuous improvement.



  • Support Partner Managers to grow service sales via indirect channels.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.




  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Business, or equivalent professional experience.



  • 7+ years of experience in service management, sales, or business development, preferably in a related industry (e.g., industrial automation, heavy industry).



  • Proven experience in sales and business development within the North American region.



  • Background in electrical industrial product sales; experience with variable frequency drives is a plus.



  • Experience in service sales is a plus.



  • Strong team player with a positive mindset, customer-oriented approach, and eagerness to learn.



  • Excellent organizational skills and effective communication abilities.



  • Strong analytical thinking and a results-driven, execution-focused mindset.
