Amsoil is currently seeking a B2B Sales and Account Specialist.


The B2B Sales and Account Specialist will drive profitable revenue growth of the AMSOIL Installer/Service Garage and Commercial business segments. This individual will need to share expertise regarding lubrication, additives and other fluids used in auto, light truck, and construction equipment to attract new customer accounts as well as increasing sales of existing accounts within a specific geographical region. S/he will also support Independent AMSOIL Dealers to maintain and grow their B2B business.


Core Responsibilities:


Sales, New business Development & Account Management



  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing accounts and the associated Dealer. Increase understanding of customers' equipment issues/concerns, product opportunities, and adding points of contact to establish breadth of relationships.
  • Proactively share lubrication expertise to help customers solve equipment problems. Be knowledgeable about lubricant needs for B2B businesses such as; quick lubes, full-repair shops, lawn and landscape, contractors and fleets.
  • Develop and successfully deliver sales proposals, training and technical presentations as needed.
  • Work closely with Independent Dealers to support their training, product knowledge and effectiveness in selling to their customers.
  • Prospect and identify new business opportunities, connect with the customers and use the sales process to develop them into purchasing accounts.
  • Utilize CRM to update leads, prospects, and new account information including quotes.


Strategic Modeling & Execution:



  • Work in the field to test and provide insights regarding future business strategies for installers, repair shops or commercial business.
  • Provide feedback and insights to enhance program ideas (while driving business in the near term).
  • Provide competitor information that is relevant to future B2B business strategies.


AMSOIL Independent Dealer Support:



  • Organize and facilitate training programs, workshops, and webinars to enhance Dealer knowledge and sales capabilities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with top-tier Dealers and develop tailored strategies to support their growth and success.
  • Provide ongoing support to Dealers to ensure they have the resources, tools, and materials necessary for successful business growth.


Business Process and Professionalism:



  • Record customer interactions in CRM.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting regarding customer performance, sales activity, expenses, and activity.
  • Represent AMSOIL professionally in all aspects of working, including travel.


Position Requirements:


Education, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical background or understanding of installer or commercial market segments.
  • Demonstrated success establishing territory sales plan.
  • 3+ years of successful B2B account management or business development experience.
  • Proven ability to develop prospects into purchasing accounts.
  • Experience with B2B presentations and training.
  • Experience with working hybrid and traveling.
  • Goal-oriented, with a strong focus on results and growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM and project management tools.
  • Must be available to travel 50% of the time (including days, overnights, driving or able to fly).


Certificates/Licenses Required:



  • Valid Driver's License and insurable for driving company vehicles in the US and Canada.
