Procurement Analyst

About the Role:

As a Procurement Analyst, you will be instrumental in optimizing our procurement processes and managing relationships with stakeholders to support our sales and Product Marketing objectives. Your focus will be on managing inventory assets, minimizing financial risks, and ensuring efficient procurement practices.

What You'll Do:

  • Vendor Collaboration: Analyze and evaluate buy opportunities from vendors, working closely with Product Management to maximize financial benefits.

  • Inventory Oversight: Manage inventory levels to achieve departmental goals for on-hand stock, days of supply, and aged inventory. Collaborate with Product Management to develop action plans for mitigating risks associated with excess and low-turn stock.

  • Negotiation Skills: Negotiate favorable return terms and other conditions to effectively manage excess inventory.

  • Billing Management: Ensure timely and accurate dropship billing for revenue recognition.

  • Compliance Management: Adhere to vendor terms and conditions to mitigate risks and resolve discrepancies without financial impact.

  • Performance Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements based on vendor scorecard reviews.

  • SIOP Preparation: Prepare for Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning reviews.

  • Customer Support: Act as an escalation point for internal and external customer inquiries.

  • Training and Testing: Participate in UAT testing for system enhancements and assist in training new hires.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

  • Hybrid: Professional Office Environment and Remote / Work-from-home.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in procurement or inventory management

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Proficient in data entry and basic mathematical calculations.

  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

  • Excellent communication skills in English and local/regional languages.

  • Skilled in negotiation and persuasive communication.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, adaptable to change and capable of working under pressure.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Advanced proficiency in relevant computer systems and applications

Salary Range Requirement

Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $67,300 or more depending on experience
