AAMC Workforce Studies Research Fellow position (part-time) is available to a graduate student in social science or a medical residency fulfilling their research requirements. The fellowship runs from September to June. The AAMC Workforce Studies fellow will function as a member of the Workforce Studies team at the AAMC while engaging in research projects that are aligned with the strategic goals and priorities of the AAMC and the Workforce Studies team. The Fellow will work on one or more research projects (see topic areas below) under the supervision of senior members of the AAMC Workforce Studies team and other AAMC staff as appropriate. The fellowship is expected to result in at least one published product, co-authored with members of the Workforce Studies team. Before concluding their fellowship, the fellow may be required to make an in-house presentation of their work, open to AAMC staff. We will consider candidates who reside outside the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area (but limited to the United States' contiguous 48 states). The Fellow can work in the AAMC office or remotely. However, we have no funds available for travel and accommodation subsidies. Qualifications
** This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours of work per week. Fellows can receive academic credit from their home institution or be paid at an hourly rate of $23 per hour ** Fellows will have access to a workspace, a laptop computer with the necessary software programs, and related AAMC datasets as appropriate.
