Position Title: Health IT Analyst/JOMIS Engineering and Testing Liaison Division: Advancia Aeronautics Location: National Capitol Region Position Summary Serve as the AF primary liaison to the Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS) Program Office and other outside agencies for emerging systems engineering and testing, as well as legacy TMIP-J software sustainment and training teams. Essential Duties & Responsibilities * Ensures outside agencies technical teams are well informed of the AFOMIS OpMed IT Assessment Center capabilities, hardware specifications, network specifications, policies & procedures, limiting factors, testing processes, sustainment factors, and all other considerations necessary to produce and field optimal solutions that will meet AFMS needs * Subject matter expert with AF and DHA standard server, desktop configuration and operating system(s), associated devices, and the interoperability of systems and software sufficient to install, upgrade, troubleshoot, test, and maintain all systems ensuring the availability, integrity, efficiency, and reliability to meet AF OpMed IT requirements and use in deployed locations * Skillfully represents AFMS and USSF medical needs via briefings and in professionally produced documents; performs reviews, provides guidance on all AFMS and USSF medical OpMed IT requirements and modernization activities * Serves[GMTC(1] as primary AFOMIS Readiness Systems Liaison working with AFMS SGX to ensure OpMed IT requirements are in-line with AF Readiness strategies and requirements * Leads cross-organizational technical troubleshooting efforts and is an AF MEFPAK liaison at HQ SG6; works across all agencies in support of trouble ticket interim and final technical troubleshooting and solutions * Supports testing activities including deployed network infrastructure and architectures, collaborates with/advises AF MAJCOM's medical support agencies * Create and maintain a records system to track designated hardware, software, and application specification to include STIGS, SCAPS, ATO certification, RMF status, change requests and associated status'. These documents should be maintained on a centrally accessible library such as AF MEDXS. * Generate and/or provide artifacts as needed or requested to support product development/implementation, lifecycle management, and sustainment of AFOMIS products to include those necessary in the RMF and ATO processes. * Ensure software, hardware, and application baselines on all assets (to include WRM) are configured IAW AFMS standards and configurations and are up to date and standardized across the enterprise. * Assist is support of technical writing * Interfaces with government software testing team (s), manages the AFOMIS PMO OpMed IT Assessment Center; leads the development of test plans, software release of TMIP-J applications to include outlining test scope, specific requirements to be tested, test methodology, environment, participant roles and responsibilities, documentation requirements, test scenarios, procedures, automated scripts, and test data to be used in conducting the test to optimize outcome for the AFMS * Oversees tests of each software release related to TMIP-J, scheduled in the government test environment, includes system integration, end-to-end regression, and cyber security testing for the AFMS * Provides verification and validation of the TMIP-J suite of applications developed and/or maintained for AFMS medics to ensure the delivered product meets functional needs * Co-leads AFOMIS OpMed IT Assessment Center virtualization tools for all TMIP-J suite applications to support EHR training through system engineering of training databases and scripts; assist lead system engineer level III with the daily maintenance, upkeep, and schedule for all medical applications * Assists in updating operating systems, databases and patching of all servers accessible from the government; performs system administration on all servers in the simulated operational environment that reside in the JOMIS Common Integration Environment (CIE) and integrates multiple systems and applications to operate in the AFMS and USSF medical specific CIE * Works with software engineers, system analysts and engineers to remediate software bugs and perform multiple test cycles, participates in product design reviews based on an in-depth level of understanding of functional requirements of the AFMS and USSF medical OpMed IT mission * Assists Data Quality Analyst with data flow verification from theater EHR to OMDS * Research patient data across multiple deployed medical applications (TMIP-J Suite of Applications) to resolve discrepancies and improve clinical process workflows, and identifies system deficiencies * Other duties as assigned Education & Experience Requirements * Experience with Cybersecurity policy, including DoD 8140 IAM or IAT II Certification, working towards it, with a minimum of a COMPTIA Security+ certification (or can receive it within six months of award) * Experience with Nessus, SCAP Compliance Checker, STIGs, hardening systems, and applying IA controls in DOD environments * Experience preparing DIACAP or RMF packages and supporting eMASS documentation * Associates degree in computer science field minimum; Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or other IT-related field is highly desirable * 5 years of experience with Air Force Medical IT systems, preferably in the operational setting. * Security clearance eligibility required: SECRET Advancia Aeronautics, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
