Job Description:

Job Summary
  • The Manager of Workforce Planning & Analytics drives workforce planning across the organization. This role is responsible for leading the Team that translates business strategy into actionable workforce plans by forecasting demand, analyzing supply, optimizing headcount, and enabling data-driven decisions. This role partners with HR, Finance, and Department Leaders to ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time.

  • Guide and lead team members using SWA talent management practices to coach, develop, and engage employees
  • Adhere to Company values and competencies to foster a culture of inclusion, recognition, and support of a safe work environment
  • Invest in leadership and self-growth through participating in continuous learning and development
Responsibilities
  • Manage a team; provide coaching, performance feedback, and project oversight
  • Lead activities to forecast workforce supply and demand for indirect (non-customer-facing) functions
  • Reliably execute the workforce plan (positions and requisitions) through HR systems
  • Identify trends and risks within the workforce, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights for HR and business leaders
  • Act as a thought partner with HR, finance, and Department Leaders on workforce-related decisions
  • Develop and maintain key HR metrics and KPIs (e.g., turnover, hiring pacing), ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with standards
  • Support workforce planning and talent strategy with scenario modeling and headcount analysis.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear, business-oriented manner
  • Stay current on HR technology, data visualization tools, and best practices in workforce analytics
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of workforce planning & HR Data Analytics
  • Knowledge of position management or other headcount planning technologies
  • Skilled in analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Skilled in understanding and meeting internal/external Stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs
  • Ability to take personal ownership to influence recommendations, judgments, actions, and decisions related to advising stakeholders
  • Ability to keep Senior Leadership up-to-date on project status considering the nuances of each internal Customer
  • Ability to manage People to accomplish complex tasks
  • Ability to present compelling arguments to support decisions with data to back up proposed solutions
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)
  • Fully functioning, broad knowledge in:
    • HR Metrics
    • Workforce planning
    • Business data analysis
    • Workday HCM
Licensing/ Certification
  • N/A
Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

  • Competitive market salary from $128,350 - $142,600 depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
