Risk Analyst

With the support of leadership, the Risk Analyst assists in developing, analyzing, and implementing Risk Management services and following up on activities related to the hospital wide Risk Management Program. The Risk Analyst works with department leadership, providing risk management activities, including but not limited to risk assessments, gap analysis, process improvements, and model risk activities

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• Minimum three (3) years' experience in healthcare risk/quality/medical staff fields or related experience
• Must have knowledge of current principles of risk management, patient safety and service excellence.
• Must have the ability to perform duties independently and accurately, including compiling and maintaining complex data and producing timely reports and updates.
• Must have the ability to handle multiple complex tasks with a high level of flexibility and with exceptional time management skills, and the ability to represent the department with professional appearance and demeanor.
• Recent experience with audits, chart reviews, clinical management, risk management investigations, and report writing is strongly preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in an acute hospital preferred

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree requiredCli
• Clnical and/or legal education preferred

PREFERED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

• Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), preferred
