Technical Systems Manager

Intercollegiate Athletics

The University of Missouri Athletics Department is seeking a Technical Systems Manager to provide support and development services for operational units in the facilities that home the broadcast and content viewing areas.

Reporting to the Director of Systems Engineering, this individual will be responsible for:

Assisting with the management of technical systems that include large scale sound, video display, instant replay, scoring, timing, lighting, and video processing;

Troubleshooting, configuring, and repairing complex malfunctioning technical systems;

Ensuring maintenance and functionality of technical systems by maintaining records and schedules for preventive maintenance and repair of equipment;

Updating and reviewing documentation and training materials that are needed for existing systems;

Coordinating part time workers and maintaining a relationship with various staff to enhance communication and effectiveness;

Other duties as assigned.

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights and Weekends as schedule needs.

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Experience within the Design and/or Construction Industry

Technical or Trade School education and experience working with and on electrical and electronic systems.

Experience in the entertainment production industry working with large scale technical systems.

Professional Certifications such as Project Management Professional or demonstrated portfolio of project experience.

Salary Range: $22.00 / hour - $30.00 / hour

Grade: GGS 09
