  • Create and maintain manufacturing routers detailing each step of production, from raw material selection through final inspection. Define process sequences, required tooling, setup instructions, and estimated cycle times.
  • Interpret technical specifications and translate them into actionable process plans that ensure compliance with customer blueprints, GD&T standards, and purchase order requirements.
  • Develop and update process documentation, including work instructions, operation sheets, and quality checkpoints to support repeatable, high-quality manufacturing.
  • Calculate raw material requirements based on planning data and product specifications, ensuring material utilization is optimized.
  • Review and process rework routers and implement in-process changes quickly to minimize downtime and production delays.
  • Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to modify and annotate engineering drawings, integrating specification changes and customer revisions into planning documents.
  • Evaluate engineering proposals by conducting analytical studies to validate manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
  • Assess feasibility of designs against existing manufacturing capabilities, recommending alternative methods when necessary.
  • Coordinate prototype builds, supporting experimental test programs and tracking performance throughout trials.
  • Analyze test data and operational feedback to confirm that product designs meet performance standards and are ready for scale-up.
  • Ensure strict document control compliance, maintaining accurate revision histories and traceability across all engineering outputs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, communicating effectively with design teams, manufacturing staff, supply chain partners, and non-technical stakeholders.
