Acara Solutions is hiring a temporary Import-Export Coordinator for our client in Hatfield, PA!

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to support international shipping and trade compliance processes. This role is ideal for someone with a logistics or administrative background and strong computer skills. The position offers a great opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment within a well-established manufacturing company.

What you'll get:

Pay: $20-25/hr. based on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Position type:
Temporary, through December 2025

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate international inbound and outbound shipments with freight forwarders, couriers, and carriers
  • Prepare required export and customs documentation (e.g., commercial invoices, certificates of origin, packing lists)
  • Communicate with internal departments and global teams to track shipments and meet documentation requirements
  • Work with customs brokers to ensure timely U.S. customs clearance
  • Perform monthly audits to ensure compliance with U.S. import/export regulations
  • Use Microsoft Office applications to manage records and maintain shipment details
  • Screen shipments using denied party screening tools
  • Investigate and resolve documentation or shipment issues
  • Regular attendance and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of experience in international logistics, shipping, or administrative support
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience with trade compliance or customs documentation
  • Familiarity with HTS codes or working with brokers
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting
