Description Acara solutions is looking to hire a Material Handler to work with our partner located out in Newark, CA who specializes in electronic manufacturing. Here is what you will get: Pay rate: $21/hr Shift: Monday-Thursday 8am-5:30pm & Friday 8am-3pm Responsibilities: Perform kitting, shortage fulfillment, window issues of parts from stockroom, work order closing and other duties as assigned by Stockroom Manager Put away materials, which requires using a pallet jack or forklift Accurately transact and physically move parts from the stockroom, maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy Participate in continuous improvement process Other duties as assigned by Stockroom Manager Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications: High school diploma Ability to use pallet jack. Prefer forklift certified. Ability to repetitively lift 20 to 50 pound packages Prefer previous experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment on stockroom functions Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing work assignments, while complying with verbal and written instructions Ability to work with minimal supervision May work overtime during weekdays and weekends. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
