- Serves as a specialist in a group of technologies and services supported within technology.
- Work closely with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams regularly to implement and manage the design, development, and execution of technical solutions that meet or exceed the organization's current and future needs.
- Responsibilities may include infrastructure architecture and design, research and development of new or expanded systems, technology standards and policies, thorough analysis of user requirements and operational constraints, unit testing and system integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Regularly and independently interact with business partners of varying associate and management levels to clarify the problem/opportunity and elicit business requirements.
- Coordinate vendor interactions or vendor resources as needed.
- Mentor and coach less experienced engineers, technicians, and integrators.
- Review documentation, proposals, and changes proposed by less experienced staff.
- Seek continuously expanding knowledge and understanding of Financial Services trends, practices, and technologies.
- Follow and promote industry best practices, standards, and procedures.
- Maintain a strong aptitude and working knowledge of Bank applications, systems, and development environments.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of vendor technologies and services used by the Bank.
- Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls by its Risk Appetite.
- Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the client's brand.
- Maintain the client's internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points and any issues external regulators raise.
- The ideal candidate will write and optimize PL/SQL code, manage database performance, and handle backend workflows, including complex SQL queries.
- This individual will work with application teams and ensure data integrity, high availability, and seamless deployments.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in systems design, management, or architecture.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in system development, infrastructure lifecycle, architecture, vendor best practices, and IT Service Management.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in DBA and backend development to support commercial loan systems in the ICS domain.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with Oracle DB Admin tools is a must.
- Minimum of 8 years of Financial services experience.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years professional experience in a technical engineering position involving infrastructure design technologies, data management, interchange, or development for complex applications.
- Ability to translate complex business and functional requirements into structured, high-quality implementations using a variety of industry-standard approaches.
