About the Role

The Nextgen Product Strategy team partners closely with leadership across Salesforce's high-growth businesses - including MuleSoft, Platform, Heroku, Agentforce, and Data Cloud. We act as a central hub for strategic planning, business performance insights, and decision-enabling analytics.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility individual contributor role that blends strategic thinking with deep analytical work. You'll be at the core of how we turn data into action - influencing sales strategy, operation efficiency, product growth, sales motion.

What You'll Do
  • Act as the go-to expert on data and analytics, providing strategic recommendations and insights through compelling, data-driven storytelling to influence key stakeholders
  • Design and build executive-level dashboards and self-serve reporting tools to track KPIs across Nextgen products
  • Own the end-to-end development of curated datasets and scalable reporting pipelines in Snowflake and other internal tools (Tableau Prep, Airflow)
  • Enable and automate operational rhythms such as QBRs, APMs, G4G, and monthly business reviews by delivering high-quality insights and visuals
  • Collaborate across functions - including finance, sales programs, operations, and product to align on goals and inform key decisions
  • Partner with teams to standardize definitions, metrics, and reporting frameworks for consistency across the org
Tools & Skills You'll Use
  • Advanced SQL (Snowflake), dashboarding in Tableau, and data modeling fundamentals
  • In-depth knowledge of sales related datasets / metrics e.g. acv, op, pipegen, account, aov, commit, g4g, carving, etc.
  • Experience in managing datasets, building reporting layers, and delivering BI solutions that scale
  • Ability to translate business questions into structured analysis, and distill complex results into actionable insights
What We're Looking For
  • 3-5 years of experience in data analytics / business intelligence
  • Strong business acumen with a passion for data and analytics
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to zoom out and think strategically
  • A "get-it-done" attitude with the curiosity to explore and improve
  • Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to executives
