The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts is a specific investment by the General Assembly in many of the states most talented and promising young minds. Summary of Job Duties:A. Receptionist duties and general operational support:

* Answers all incoming calls from the main switchboard, routes to the appropriate
employees, and offers direct assistance as able
* Serves as primary monitor and point of contact for visitor access to campus
buildings via the remote door control system
* Registers all campus guests by checking identification and logging non-residential visitors in the guest management system
* Provides supplemental support and coverage to the Executive Assistant on
postage services, mail delivery/distribution, and receipt of packages in Workday
* Schedules work service students for supplemental coverage of the Welcome
Desk

B. Operational support for STEM Pathways:

* Provides communication support to educators within the initiative by responding
to common inquires as directing messages to lead teachers as needed
* Assists with the collection and reporting of data for demographics,
documentation, and geographic reach
* Assists with event and workshop planning, including room requests, program
calendars, setup requests, and other secondary elements
* Collaborates with the Department of Finance and Director of STEM Pathways to
ensure invoices are generated correctly, tracks invoices, and departmental
purchases
* Offers content support within program and marketing materials by proofreading,
formatting, and distribution of materials as needed Qualifications:

High school diploma required; Associate degree and 1-3 years of experience in operations or office management preferred * Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills * Ability to work effectively as a team member of ASMSA * Possesses strong time management and organizational skills * Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office and Google suites * Comfort with technology, including strong willingness to learn operational systems related to mailing, phones, access control, and general campus functions (Workday)
