Position Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer who will play a key role in product design, hydraulic circuit design, custom quoting, engineering support, and new product development. You will be responsible for CAD design, BOM management, and engineering support for standard and custom hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders. You'll also spearhead complex design initiatives, guide cross-functional projects, and serve as a technical resource for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop Quotes quickly and accurately for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders
  • Develop custom hydraulic and mechanical systems, including control components and automation
  • Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to translate customer requirements into engineered solutions
  • Develop detailed 2D/3D CAD models and drawings using Creo and AutoCAD
  • Generate and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Execute and lead Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to resolve manufacturing/design issues
  • Perform calculations, stress analysis and apply GD&T to ensure performance and manufacturability
  • Drive new product development from concept to commercialization
  • Lead prototype design and testing in collaboration with manufacturing
  • Respond to and resolve shop floor inquiries and production concerns
  • Identify and implement process improvements in design and engineering workflows


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing engineering
  • Proficiency in Creo and AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Hydraulic and Pneumatic circuits, GD&T, and FEA
  • Strong background in hydraulics, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes
