Program Analyst - Mid-Level

Location: Washington DC
Clearance Requirement: Secret Clearance
Education: Bachelor's degree in any field
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAU Level II in Program Management
Experience: 4 to 7 years of professional experience in program/project management
Domain Knowledge:




  • Familiarity with DoD/DoN procedures and policies, including the DoD 5000 process and Middle Tier Acquisition



  • Experience with Navy DoD weapon systems




Position Overview:
The Mid-Level Program Analyst provides analytical and project support to government clients, helping to improve program performance through the review and evaluation of data, systems, and workflows. The analyst supports planning, execution, and reporting across multiple program areas while interacting with stakeholders at various levels.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Collect, review, and analyze programmatic and operational data to support informed decision-making



  • Define the nature and scope of problems and opportunities



  • Analyze data such as expenditures, personnel, or logistics; interview stakeholders; and observe operations



  • Develop and propose solutions, considering organizational structure, interagency relationships, and internal culture



  • Prepare mathematical models, written reports, and oral presentations to communicate findings



  • Support the implementation of approved recommendations as required
