Position Description

  • Support the organization's insurance and risk management functions.
  • Assist with claims tracking, insurance documentation, and data analysis to help protect the organization's assets and reduce loss exposure.


  • Essential Job Tasks:

    Claims Support:
  • Coordinates the claims process, working closely with claims adjusters and internal counsel to ensure prompt and fair settlements in case of losses or liabilities.
  • Engage in negotiation with the claimant to reach a fair and equitable settlement.
  • Discuss and negotiate the amount of the settlement, the scope of repairs or replacement, and any other relevant terms.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, address concerns and keep claimants informed of the progress.


  • Insurance Documentation:
  • Help track insurance certificates, policies, endorsements, and renewal documents.
  • Support internal reviews and ensure records are organized and current.


  • Data Entry and Reporting:
  • Enter and update claim and loss control data in internal and carrier systems.
  • Prepare reports and support the preparation of summaries for leadership, brokers and other departments.


  • Data Collection for Underwriting:
  • Facilitate the collection and validation of detailed exposure data to support favorable underwriting outcomes.


  • Payment Processing:
  • Process the settlement payment to the claimant once an agreement is reached.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed to finalize the settlement.
  • Process request for payments for insurance premiums and broker fees.


  • Position Requirements

  • This position may be eligible for hybrid (remote and in person arrangement).

    Loss Control & Insurance Analyst II
  • Bachelors degree + 2 years related experience or Associates degree + 4 years related experience required.


  • Compensation Information:
    $66,390 - $82,980 (min. - mid.)

    Loss Control & Insurance Analyst I
  • Bachelors degree or Associates degree + 2 years related experience required.


  • Compensation Information:
    $53,400 - $66,730 (min. - mid.)
