Overview

The Production Engineer is a technical specialist with expertise in one or more technical domains. Being engaged in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Production Engineers will contribute effectively to all the phases of the SDLC. Starting with planning phase, Production Engineers will review upcoming changes from production support perspective, make simple to medium complexity code changes, participate in demos leading all the way up to smooth productionization of release changes. They will continually drive automation in production processes ensuring minimal manual processes in day-to-day production support activities. What You'll Do

  • Technical analysis of production platforms technology stack to identify resiliency and performance enhancements

  • Continuous analysis of production issues and feedback bug fixes into application backlog for future sprints and releases

  • Analysis to build robust information security framework around application, Devise non-functional requirements (NFR) with thorough due diligence

  • Prioritization ofo change by application and flow

  • Create stories for production engineer owned changes for entry into release process

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required

  • Service Operation experience within a global operations context

  • Experience in Information Technology in large corporoate environments, specifically in controlled production environments or in Financial Services Technology in a client-facing function

  • Experience of end-to-end Level 2 management and good overview of Production/Operations Management overall

  • Experience of supporting complex application and infrastructure domains

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken

  • Global Transaction Banking / Corporate and Investment Banking experience

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Self-motivated and self starter

  • Industry and banking experience is a plus

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $85,000 to $111,800.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
