What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage Audit failures and systemic Issues (SCARs) with suppliers for improved processes and product quality.

  • Review supplier submitted change requests as relates to supplier moves and projects.

  • Manage product and compliance related supplier risk mitigation strategies as required.

  • Participate in the development of partnerships with key Suppliers.

  • SQE representative for internal and external Audits

  • Develop and manage Supplier Audit Program

  • Review and manage Supplier Scorecards and associated activities

  • Perform part qualification for PMI Engineering Changes

  • Responsible for problem Solving based on Rolling Top 5 Supplier Issues

  • Provide quality input for Supplier Business Reviews

  • Input and participate in Supplier Quality Council (SQM)

  • Participate in DFx reviews with Suppliers

  • Conduct mandatory periodic Supplier Re-Evaluations

  • Own, train and insure smooth implementation for process improvements (Process Excellence Eng)

  • Develop Risk Mitigation for Provisional Suppliers

  • Ensure Quality terms and conditions with suppliers are adequate

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering required.

  • 3 years of related experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of GMP/manufacturing environment.

  • Prior experience interacting with the FDA and other regulatory agencies desired.

  • Ability to work effectively with multi-department and multi-site teams.

  • Ability to manage and organize complex problems.

  • Good written and oral communication skills, excellent attention to details.

  • Strong team leader with management skills and focus on results.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, applications, and process development to work with suppliers to improve the quality components of goods and services.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 - $121,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentive.
