The Customer Experience Specialist I is a customer service professional working in a call center environment, supporting the Consumer Direct Lending process. This role serves as the primary point of contact for consumers throughout the loan origination journey, following the initial consultation with a licensed loan officer. The specialist plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for customers by managing communications, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities * Serve as a customer success advocate in a high-volume call center environment. * Handle inbound and outbound calls and text messages (with consumer consent) to support customers through the loan process. * Manage a pipeline of up to 75 active loans, with an average of 60 loans per week and approximately 30 calls per day. * Act as the main point of contact for customers from loan origination to closing. * Perform routine data entry and validation tasks with a high degree of accuracy. * Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, providing timely and accurate information. * Monitor work queues and proactively address tasks to ensure timely processing. * Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and expedite loan processing. * Conduct basic research to resolve customer concerns and escalate complex issues as needed. * Meet established performance metrics for productivity and quality. * Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. * Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the organization's values and customer-first culture. Qualifications * Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial services; mortgage industry experience preferred. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. * Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced call center. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management abilities. * Proficiency with computers and common applications (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.). * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
