Description * Schedules minimally invasive procedures for providers/patients. * Answers phones, schedules procedures, completes authorizations & insurance verification. * Downloads imaging for patients. * Ensures clinical schedules are up to date, physicians are prepared each day. * Develops and recommends new program goals and objectives. * Develops and schedules program work plan; oversees daily operations and coordinates activities of program. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Must have at least a high school diploma. * Must have at least 2+ years in a medical setting (inpatient/outpatient) as program coordinator, program specialist, or lead role in patient access/authorization/insurance verification. * Previous EPIC experience is preferred. * Cardiology background preferred but not required. * Must have great customer service skills. * Must be comfortable working in a high-volume role/team. * Must be familiar with the insurance/pre-authorization process. * Must be able to multitask and take on multiple projects. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
