TEKsystems is actively hiring for a medical biller for a doctor's office in Edina, MN! Description: * This person will be doing all of the billing basics- will be managing the billing insurance processing payments for the clinic. * Prepare and submit claims for medical procedures and services provided to insurance companies and will communicate with patients about outstanding balances/collect payments. * Perform posting charges * Perform completion of claims to payers * Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion * Submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers * Process claims * Resolve denial instances * Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided * Deploy, maintain and report on various programs * Conduct audits Additional Skills & Qualifications: * High School Diploma * 2 years' of prior medical billing experience Work Environment * Smaller office setting within a very nice medical office building * Hours are flexible. If they need to come in early or later they can come in. Standard hours 7-5 is when the office is open 9-5 or 8-4, they can pick their preference. * Monday-Friday Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
