*Position: *Healthcare (Patient Billing) Call Center Representative
*Department:* Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) *Employment Type:* Full-Time | 6 month Contract to Hire *Hours:* Monday-Friday 8am-5pm *About the Role:* Our client is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Patient Billing Call Center Representative to join their centralized Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) call center team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients across their Colorado-based eye care centers, assisting with billing inquiries, insurance questions, and payment processing. *Key Responsibilities:* * Respond to inbound calls from patients regarding billing questions and insurance coverage. * Make outbound calls to follow up on voicemails and collect payments from patients without insurance coverage. * Process patient credit card payments accurately and post them in the practice management system. * Review and respond to incoming emails during call downtime. * Provide clear explanations of insurance benefits, co-pays, deductibles, coinsurance, and patient responsibilities. * Maintain accurate patient records, including notes and demographic updates. * Escalate complex issues to RCM Managers as needed. *Required Qualifications:* * High school diploma or GED. * Minimum 6 months of healthcare experience in a patient-facing role involving payments. * Understanding of prior authorizations, EOBs, and insurance vs. patient responsibilities. * At least 1 year of total call center experience (can include the 6 months of healthcare experience). *Preferred Qualifications:* * Bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus. *Skills & Competencies:* * Strong customer service and communication skills. * Familiarity with Microsoft Office and practice management systems. * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, call center environment. * Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. *Why You Should Apply:* * Be part of a mission-driven team improving patient experiences. * Opportunities for growth within a supportive and collaborative environment. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
