Call Center - Contact Experience Specialist
Location: St. Louis, MO 63110 Pay Rate: $23.00/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (with flexibility) Work Environment: On-site (should reside within 35 minutes of the office) Start Date: July 28th, 2025 Interview Date: As soon as possible Position Overview As a Call Center Contact Experience Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers throughout the home loan process. This role involves managing both inbound and outbound communications, reviewing documentation, and guiding customers with professionalism and care. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the main liaison for borrowers during the mortgage servicing process * Review and assist with loan documentation * Handle 30+ inbound and outbound calls daily in a fast-paced environment * Provide timely, accurate, and empathetic support to customers via phone and email * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience * Effectively manage a pipeline of up to 75 loans * Currently 60 loans per week (12 loans per day) * Contractors will be the main point of contact for the customer from loan origination to loan closing Qualifications * Minimum 1 year of experience in the mortgage industry * At least 1 year of direct customer service experience (phone-based preferred) * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently * Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills * Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset * Must achieve an assessment score above 50 Why Join This Team? * Contract-to-Hire Opportunity: 4-month contract with strong potential for permanent placement * Career Growth: Proven track record of internal promotions from this team * Bonus Potential: Eligible for up to $10,000 annually in quarterly bonuses upon conversion to full-time * Supportive Culture: Business casual dress code and a clean, professional office environment Work Schedule * Standard Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM * Flexibility Required: Office hours are 6:00 AM - 8:00 PM; occasional shifts until 7:00 PM * Rotational Late Shift: One evening per week with a later start the following day * Saturday Availability: 2 shifts per quarter (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM) * On-Site Role: Equipment provided for occasional remote work due to weather or overtime needs *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
