Location/Region: This position is located in Maple Grove, MN. Hybrid - 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.

What's the role?

The Materials Master Data Specialist at ZEISS IQS North America is responsible for managing and maintaining the integrity of material master data within the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This role ensures that all material data is accurate, up-to-date, and complies with company standards and regulatory requirements. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Here's what you'll do:

Data Management:

  • Create, update, and maintain material master data in the ERP system.

  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all platforms.

  • Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with Product Management, Accounting, Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to gather and verify material data.

  • Serve as the point of contact for material data inquiries and issues.

  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on data management best practices.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and data quality improvements.

  • Support the implementation of new systems and tools to streamline material master data creation in ERP systems.

  • Provide recommendations of alternative processes to drive efficiency in managing master data.

  • Perform other duties as directed by Management

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate reports and analyses to support sales and supply chain decision-making.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material data accuracy and timeliness.

    Do you qualify?

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Admin, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

    • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in material data management or similar role.

    • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP.

    The annual pay range for this position is $74,000 - $92,000.

    The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.

    This position is also eligible for a performance bonus.
