Production & Packaging Technician - 3rd Shift (Sun-Thurs) Category: Production or Manufacturing Employment Type: Contract To Hire Reference: BH-385995 Yoh is seeking a Production & Packaging Technician- 3rd Shift for an 18-month contract with a strong possibility of hire, with our client in the Biotechnology Industry, located in Hazelwood, MO $18.40/hr (which includes the 15% differential for 3rd shift) This a full time role, Sunday-Thursday with OT required Hours 1030PM-630AM *Must attend full day, orientation the first week* All background checks are conducted in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). If you're ready to build something meaningful every day, this is where your future begins. What You Will Be Doing Production per Manufacturing Directions while maintaining compliance with SOPs. Process batch paperwork accurately and timely. Execute validation protocols for manufacturing/packaging equipment and procedures including revalidation. Provide assistance with the review and revision of Manufacturing Directions and SOPs necessary for the manufacture and packaging of product. Certified in operation of at least one high speed manufacturing equipment efficiently and effectively, in some cases highly automated, using HMI/SCADA interfaces. Engage in and push cage 600 lbs. Maintain product segregation, retrieve and organize raw materials, and ability to learn fork truck operation. Follow cleaning procedures to ensure adequate cleaning of the manufacturing areas. Setup high speed equipment, within tolerances, to ensure product runs are started on time in established guidelines. Comply with all safety policies and procedures at all times. Use PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) as required. Maintain work area in an organized, clean manner in compliance with cGMP requirements. Express ideas clearly (verbal and written) and work from verbal and written instructions, manuals, and work orders. Perform calculations and complex task sequences. Perform computer applications including learning and performing SAP transactions. Routinely lift 20-50 pounds and stand for 8-12 hours. Extensive standing, repetitive hand and arm motions, ability to climb steps. Lifting (up to 50Lbs) and moving containers of cartons, tubes, and printed materials. Operating in cool temperature and low humidity within the production room. Constant noise is common due to the operation of the air-dry chamber and pouching equipment. Appropriate gowning requirements necessary for the production areas. Gloves are required to handle the product. Hairnet, clean room gowns and/or lab coats are required. Safety glasses and hearing protection are required personal protective gear. Occasional environmental odors may be prevalent. Who You Are High School Diploma or GED required. 1-2 years' experience in FDA regulated environment and GMP is a plus but not necessary. Operate and maintain automated manufacturing equipment Follow SOPs and safety protocols (PPE required) Complete batch paperwork and SAP transactions Perform cleaning, setup, and material handling (up to 50 lbs) Work in a cleanroom environment with extended standing and repetitive tasks Mechanically inclined with strong attention to detail Comfortable in regulated, fast-paced settings Able to lift, push, and stand for long periods If This Sounds Like You, Apply Now!
