We are seeking a Analytics Engineer who is not only technically skilled but also deeply passionate about gaming or has direct experience working in the gaming industry. What You'll Do * Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and game teams to understand business needs and deliver high-quality, actionable data products. * Build and maintain robust data pipelines and models that transform raw gaming data into clean, enriched, and usable datasets. * Design scalable data architectures and implement modern data engineering practices using Python, SQL, and cloud technologies. * Develop frameworks and reusable components to enhance data infrastructure and analytics capabilities. * Work with multi-structured data from various sources, including in-game telemetry, APIs, and third-party platforms. * Ensure data quality, security, and usability across all analytics solutions. * Support machine learning initiatives by preparing data for modeling and experimentation. Key Qualifications * 3-5 years of experience in data analytics and 5-7 years in data engineering or analytics engineering. * Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and data modeling. * Experience with big data pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Jenkins). * Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight. * Proven ability to build scalable, efficient, and reliable data solutions. * Strong critical thinking and communication skills. * Must have a strong interest in gaming or prior experience working in a gaming company-this is essential for understanding the context and impact of the data. Preferred Experience * Experience with Databricks or similar platforms. * Experiance in AI/ML or exposure to analytics in gaming environments. * Understanding of game telemetry, player behavior analytics, or in-game economy modeling. * Familiarity with lakehouse architectures and dimensional modeling. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a data-driven gamer or someone who has worked in the gaming industry and understands the nuances of game development, player engagement, and live service operations. You should be comfortable working with large datasets, collaborating across disciplines, and delivering insights that directly impact the player experience. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
