We are looking for a highly driven Senior Vice President, who is passionate about delivering high value solutions to join our Technology practice. We are seeking professionals who have the combination of capability, drive, training, and intellectual curiosity which results in success at AlixPartners.

If you join our practice, you will work with companies in all stages of their business life cycle across a variety of urgent, high impact situations. You will be responsible for leading projects and client engagements which focus on Technology Transformation. We advise our clients and guide their Technology future by analyzing corporate performance, driving cost reduction, revenue growth and profitability improvement across industries.     • Recognized for deep skills and passion as a specialist and leader able to engage with client senior leadership in any combination of service areas below:


      • IT/ Technology Due Diligences & Post-Merger Integration
      • Digital Strategy/ Digital Transformation
      • IT Optimization & Cost Rationalization
      • Technology Operating Models including Outsourcing & Offshoring for corporate IT functions as well as customer-facing product delivery functions
      • ERP Strategy & Implementation Management
      • Infrastructure/ application architecture & roadmap
      • Developing product/service vision and strategy to achieve ambitious business goals and guide product/service roadmaps, backlogs and investments
      • Define objectives and key results (with a sharp focus on business outcomes and metrics) to influence product direction, design, delivery and scaling decisions which may involve trade-offs between value, feasibility and usability.
      • Evaluate and recommend technologies, deployment models, tools, development processes, team compositions, governance and training to accelerate the development of technical solutions and achieve a unified framework for delivery, consistency, and quality.
      • Cloud Strategy Implementation - private/public clouds - on AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
      • Determine the value of roadmap items and negotiate with business stakeholders and engineers to deliver the most value within established timelines and budgets.

    • Consistent track record of successfully structuring and leading client engagements to desired results, achieving business objectives, meeting, or exceeding client expectations.
    • Understands and adapts to complex client environments and situations.

  • Analytics and problem solving


    • Views problems from the 'big picture POV', recognizing critical areas to drive into more detail. Quickly structures approaches to solve complex problems. Remains balanced and flexible while anticipates and changes direction as necessary.
    • Synthesizes information rapidly and applies good business judgment quickly to deliver deep insights into possible impacts and solutions.
    • Analytical, adept at quickly defining, aligning, and scaling data modeling and management approach with the client needs. Ensures 80/20 approach to rapidly draw conclusions. Skilled and quickly identifying anomalies, inconsistencies, errors, and conclusions.

    • Engenders client confidence and trust with executives at all levels. Builds advisory relationships with clients and peers.
    • Skilled at defining, communicating, motivating, and leading change at executive levels and across the firm.
    • Articulate, persuasive, communicator. Commands the room, handles executive and difficult audiences well. Readily adapts style and message appropriately to audience and circumstance. Excellent at impromptu communication during complex discussions.
    • Experienced leader of small projects and/or multiple work streams of larger projects.

    • Interest in developing skillset to contribute to proposal development, cultivating new opportunities, and consistently extend work for him/herself and others team members on client projects.



Work & Education Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or foreign equivalent. Master's degree and/or certification in related specialty area(s) preferred.
  • Experience with large scale transformations, with a deep vertical and broad horizontal experience are preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience with proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior business and technology leaders.
  • Minimum 3-5+ years of experience in a professional services firm environment preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Must become familiar with, and promote and abide by, our Core Values as defined by the AlixPartners'Code of Conduct and foster an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.


The firm offers a comprehensive benefits program including health, vision, dental, disability, 401K, tuition reimbursement, identity theft protection, and mental wellness support. Employees will also receive a generous paid leave policy including vacation/personal time starting at 7.34 hours per pay period, sick time up to 80 hours annually, parental leave and twelve holidays.

The salary range for this role takes into account a number of factors and is between $160,000/year - $310,000/year with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
