How you will make history here...

Under direction of the Maintenance Manager this position is responsible for receiving, labeling, storing, issuing, and shipping materials & supplies.

What you will do...

  • Receives, labels, and stores all incoming parts for the Maintenance Department.

  • This position is also responsible for shipping parts for maintenance and engineering to support plant goals.

  • Trains and supervises employees to perform quarterly cycle counts of the asset storeroom and submits appropriate reports, recommends stock level adjustments based on part turns, and equipment disposal.

  • Responsible for shipping and tracking waste materials in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requirements.

  • Manages the refurbishment (DIFM) process for storeroom parts. This includes completing requisitions, shipping of worn parts to vendors and coordinating repairs.

  • Develops method to manage assets from engineering and maintenance stored onsite and offsite. Works with outside vendors to coordinate movement of assets as needed.

  • This position will assist in resolving invoicing exceptions in the accounts payable process for both maintenance and engineering.

  • This position is responsible for the parts kitting program including providing training and support to those using the program.

  • Compares nomenclature, stock numbers, authorized substitutes, and other listed information to verify accuracy of requisitions, receipts, and shipping orders.

  • Performs the role of Power User in the SAP environment to coordinate activities between other plants, including shifting stock between plants, and applying best practices within the Denver facility.

  • Maintains good housekeeping practices and orderliness in Storeroom at all times. This position also acts in a leadership role for 5S activities.

  • Establishes and maintains shop tool inventories and oversees shop area safety program.

  • Assists with projects and technical assignments as directed by Maintenance Manager.

  • Assumes responsibility for the Quality System requirements defined in 4.1.2.1 of the Pepperidge Farm, Inc. - Denver Plant Quality Procedures Manual.

  • The above reflects the typical duties of the job. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Who will you work with...

You will report into the Maintenance Manager.

What you will bring to the table...

  • 3 years minimum related experience and/or training are required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • This position will require obtaining, if not currently certified, and maintaining certifications for shipping various types of waste in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) requirements.

  • Computer proficiency is required in the following: SAP, Outlook, Bartender for FEDEX Shipping, Windows-based software applications (Word, Excel, Access).

It would be great if you have...

  • An Associates Degree from a college or technical school is preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$58,300-$83,800

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
