POSITION SUMMARY:



  • The Associate Administrator, Accounting reports to the Divisional Vice President, Finance and Accounting
  • Located in Mansfield, MA
  • Part-Time
  • In-Office



This entry-level position is ideal for candidates who are looking to start their career in accounting administration. The Associate Administrator will provide essential support to our accounting department, assisting with various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recordkeeping and Data Entry:



  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by entering data into accounting software and spreadsheets.


Invoice Processing:



  • Support the accounts payable function by processing invoices, verifying accuracy, and obtaining necessary approvals.


Expense Reporting:



  • Assist employees with expense report submissions and ensure compliance with company policies.


Vendor Management:



  • Maintain vendor files, including contact information and payment terms, and assist with vendor communications.


Reconciliation Assistance:



  • Aid in reconciling accounts payable and receivable statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.


Document Management:



  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical accounting files, ensuring easy retrieval and confidentiality.


Administrative Support:



  • Provide general administrative support to the accounting team, including answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.


Compliance Monitoring:



  • Assist in monitoring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.


Special Projects:



  • Participate in special projects and assignments as needed to support departmental objectives.

  • Ability to accurately process and record financial data.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to achieve common goals.

  • Commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive financial information.



QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:



  • 0 - 1 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or administrative roles, or equivalent military or practical experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) is a plus.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
