A Recruiting Assistant at SET Environmental is responsible to:



  • Work in conjunction with the Recruiter to understand business needs and develop an effective recruiting plan to fill open positions
  • Source current open positions and maintain talent pool pipelines
  • Log applicants through applicant tracking system to ensure candidates move quickly through process
  • Develop alternative methods to creatively source candidates
  • Complete background screens and pre-employment requirements with selected applicants
  • Schedule pre-employment physicals and drug screens based on position requirements
  • Support the daily administration of employee records
  • Create and file new hire folders, pull termination folders, and prepare for onsite storage
  • Generate the Human Resources slides for the monthly message boards
  • Handle all incoming / outgoing mail for the corporate office (USPS, UPS, FedEx)
  • Order office supplies for the Corporate office
  • Responsible for appearance of conference room(s), reception area/lobby, kitchen, and other general office areas
  • Stock the refrigerator and snack shelves
  • Assist in Human Resource projects as needed
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned



POSITION REQUIREMENTS



  • High School Diploma, or equivalent education, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Three to Five years of strong administrative work experience
  • Previous recruiting experience preferred
  • Experience using applicant tracking system and sourcing solutions preferred
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and e-mail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and maintains a constructive working relationship
  • Prompt, thorough, and accurate with all assignments
  • High organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task while managing a heavy workload
  • Proven self-starter, highly motivated, sets aggressive goals
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding sensitive employee data and information
  • Good judgment, decision-making, adaptability, teamwork
