TITLE: GMP PARTS CLEANER B

POSITION OBJECTIVE: cleaning and sanitation of all parts/pieces and manufacturing equipment changeover parts. This position will be responsible for tagging and maintaining all cleaning logs for process and equipment changeover parts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1 year of general manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, nutraceutical/pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related industrial manufacturing experience required.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing, mechanical, light industrial or plant operations required, including but not limited to, basic knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, required.
• Basic knowledge of Lockout/Tag out and MSDS, preferred.
• Strong aptitude for math (e.g. good understanding of metric weights and measures), required.
• Ability to read, English and interpret documents such as safety rules and cleaning procedures, required.

• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.

• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare 3 compartment sink with cleaning and sanitizing agents.
• Clean and sanitize all process parts/piecesand changeover parts for all manufacturing equipment.
• Tag all process drum and manufacturing change parts with status tag and post cleaning information on cleaning logs.
• Store clean process drum and changeover parts in storage area.
• Follows established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOP's), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures
• Adjust, clean, and lubricate mechanical parts of machines, using hand tools and grease guns.
• Add specified amounts of chemicals to equipment at required times to maintain solution levels and concentrations.
• Drain, clean, and refill machines parts or tanks at designated intervals, using cleaning solutions, alcohol or water.

MACHINES, TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, ELECTRONIC DEVICES & SOFTWARE:

• Pallet Jack experience required.

• Computer literate with knowledge of Inventory control system and Microsoft Outlook Preferred.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform work standing for prolonged periods of time.
