The Account Executive will play a critical role in driving revenue and expanding our presence in the Central Massachusetts and Rhode Island territories. This individual will be responsible for actively selling our fire alarm, security, and low voltage system offerings, managing client relationships, and supporting the branch in achieving its growth and revenue goals. This role requires a combination of technical sales expertise, customer service experience, and self-driven motivation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Territory Development & Account Management


  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Strategically grow accounts to increase market share and maximize customer value.
  • Solution Selling - Fire Alarm, Security & Low Voltage Systems
  • Actively sell and promote fire alarm, intrusion detection, CCTV, access control, intercoms, and other integrated low-voltage systems.
  • Conduct site walkthroughs and needs assessments to recommend tailored system solutions.
  • Prepare and present proposals, RFPs, and estimates to decision-makers.


Customer Support & Retention


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
  • Ensure post-sale satisfaction by coordinating with operations, design, and service teams.
  • Maintain a high standard of communication, follow-up, and professionalism.


Sales Planning & Reporting


  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan to meet or exceed monthly and annual quotas.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline information in CRM tools, track activities, and report results regularly.
  • Participate in sales meetings, forecasts, and branch strategy sessions.


Market Intelligence & Competitive Awareness


  • Stay informed about local market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
  • Use market insights to influence product offerings, pricing strategies, and customer messaging.


Basic Qualifications:



  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the commercial development industry
  • 5+ years of experience establishing a client base: Proven successful history of relationship development, lead generation, and selling design concepts/ideas
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel as needed.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Proven history of sales success: Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Experience building a network of business relationships: Ability to create sales opportunities by working with A&D (Architecture & Design), real estate, and construction companies
  • Innovative self-starter: Confidence and ability to represent Pavion professionally and ethically to gain high levels of confidence
  • Excellent problem-solving skills: Strong meeting facilitation skills
  • Ability to lead change: Handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment effectively
  • Bachelor's degree


Salary Range- $100K to $125K plus commissions
